Sam O’Leary, candidate for Lakewood City Council At-Large, files petitions and is officially on the ballot for November.
Lakewood, Ohio – June 14, 2013 – On Wednesday, June 12, 2013, Lakewood City Council At-Large candidate Sam O’Leary filed his petitions with the Board of Elections and is officially on the ballot for the election in November.
“I am excited to see so many people who care about Lakewood and are taking time out of their busy lives to run for city council,” Sam O’Leary said. “This is going to be a great opportunity for all of us to talk in depth about the issues facing Lakewood and present our city with our best ideas to address those issues.”
According to the Lakewood Patch, there will be two incumbents, Ryan Nowlin and Monique Smith, running, as well as challengers Ward 2 Councilman Tom Bullock, Cindy Marx and Anthony Davis. Because there are six candidates running and not seven, there will not be a primary in September.
